Who We Are

Named for some of the hottest peppers in the world, Capsicum Records, LLC is a new independent, internet-driven recorded music company based in West Caldwell, NJ, with additional facilities in Hartford CT, and Pottstown, PA.

Our unique sound features what our founders call Reggae-In-Fusion, meaning reggae fused with other musical genres – pop, folk, modern country, rhythm & blues, gospel/Christian contemp, hip-hop, soft rock, rockabilly, jazz-funk, honky-tonk, Delta blues, Trinidadian Calypso/Soca, even with Cajun Zydeco, Creole Zouk, Brazilian Bossanova/Samba – basically wherever the songs, our eclectic influences and creativity, and our artists take us – or infusing those same musical genres with the rhythms and the grooves of lover’s rock or dancehall reggae.  We are reggae fusion, or reggae infusion, with American soul.
