Named for some of the hottest peppers in the world, Capsicum Records, LLC is a new independent, internet-driven recorded music company based in West Caldwell, NJ, with additional facilities in Hartford CT, and Pottstown, PA.
“Roots on the bottom and pop on the top.”
Our unique sound features Reggae-In-Fusion, that is reggae fused with other musical genres – pop, folk, modern country, rhythm & blues, gospel/Christian contemp, hip-hop, soft rock, rockabilly, jazz-funk, honky-tonk, Delta blues, Trinidadian Calypso/Soca, even with Cajun Zydeco, Creole Zouk, Brazilian Bossanova/Samba – basically wherever the songs, our eclectic influences and creativity, and our artists take us – or infusing those same musical genres with the rhythms and the grooves of lover’s rock or dancehall reggae. We are reggae fusion, or reggae infusion, or reggaeinfusion with American soul.
